Sailor Lolita fashion style refers to a Lolita fashion that incorporates the look of a sailor. It is a very nautical-themed style, which is inspired by Japanese sailor-styled uniforms.
Sailor collars and ties (sometimes the ties can be replaced by bow-knots), sailor hats, stripes, dark blues, and whites are often included in sailor Lolita style dresses as well as some nautical motifs, such as ship anchors and wheels. Like most other Lolita styles, sailor Lolita dress also features a bell-shaped skirt. The skirt may be flattered by rushing detail. The outfit may include a puffed short sleeved blouse with pockets. Of cause, long sleeves are also acceptable in sailor Lolita. We seldom see striped socks in other Lolita styles. But they are quite common in sailor Lolita style.
